What can I say about White Oak? I think the pictures tell the entire story. The rings in the grain pattern could not have been drawn on so well. The one question that will come up occasionally is why the price difference in the woods. Also, walnut is usually more expensive than oak, yet here it is less. Well, the reason is because oak is so much harder to work with. The term "hardwood" describes oak to a "T". We have an advantage in that we do not usually have to purchase the wood we carve in therefore we set our prices based more on the labor involved than in the type of wood.
